Summer Meals Program starts June 4, 2018
The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) provides meals to children 18 and younger during the summer when school is not in session. The purpose of our program is to ensure children in low income areas could continue to receive nutritious meals during long summer vacations, when they do not have access to school lunch or breakfast. The Child Core offers snack and dinner to children to close that gap to assure these same children in the communities across the state can enjoy healthy snacks and hot meals.
See It! Touch It! Be It! Is a mentoring program that unites career professionals from a variety of industries to connect with the youth within the local community. The program is designed to provide representation, build skills and confidence, and encourage personal and professional growth.
If I can see it and I can touch it
I CAN BE IT!
A community based mentoring program for girls 10 to 18 years of age providing them with prevention and empowerment to be effective leaders, caring citizens, and to have a sense of self-awareness.
Before school start in the fall, The Child Core Foundation joins with community partners to collect school supplies for under-priviledge children to make sure they are ready to start a new school year.
